Loki was reclining on his bed reading when your small voice caught his attention.
“Ada,” your little voice came from beside Loki’s bed. You held up your arms, a clear invitation to be picked up. Loki lifted you onto his bed and posited you so that you were lying with him, your head on his chest.
“Yes my dove?”
“Ada, why do people disapprove of Uncle Thor and Lady Jane?” You asked seriously. Loki sighed. He knew questions like this would arise eventually.
“Because Lady Jane is mortal.” Loki explained.
“Like Ama?” You asked. Loki nodded.

You smiled gently as the face of your beloved came into view. He laid on the bed, his cold eyes looking soft beneath his eyelids.
You turned to Sleipnir, the only one of Loki's children who dared come to Asgard.
"Sh," You warned. The young horse tilted his head, and you further explained, "Remember the plan?"
The eight-legged horse excitedly nodded. You giggled softly; he was so cute.
"Okay, lets start."
You guided Sleipnir to your side of the bed. With your help, he made it onto the bed safely. You ensured that he was careful where and how he placed his hooves, so as not to disturb the sleeping demigod on the other side.
